Summoning Grass

The biggest challenge of this project is the distance to the land. I attempted to plant some wildflower seeds on the land and being the brutal Mojave they didn’t seem to take even in the late winter wet months.

While I’ve been designing my irrigation system, I have been very happily summoning native grass and wildflowers to transplant to the land once they are old enough.

Within this grass summoning initiative, I have designed a few soil experiments to see the health of the soil in my land.

Honestly, the native plants and trees seem to do fine in the sandy acidic soil of Camp Goblin. But to encourage my lil lovelies, I mixed in some organic potting soil to help give them some basic phosphates that seem to be missing from the soil.
